I Knew this was possible for awhile now, but never actually did it till now... Dphracker has done this, as well as a few other of my friends. Anyway, if this tutorial has already been done, don't feel the need to hate, as i did not know about it. Also i feel that i can do a good job of explaining how to get it working
TUTORIAL:
UPDATE
DO ALL OF THIS FIRST!!! OR IT WILL NOT WORK!
Step #1: Connect Normally like your going to rtm through ethernet...
.
Step #2: Your ps3 will probably freeze, or whatever.... Regardless if it does or not, restart your ps3.
Step #3: Go into network settings, and follow the tutorial, and it should show up.
(
Unplug your ethernet from the back of your ps3, and disconnect it completely as it will not be needed)
Step #1:
On Your PS3, go into "Internet Connection Settings", and go to: Custom>Wireless>Scan>(Pick your SSID/WIFI)>(Choose Security) put in your pass key for wifi>Manual.
Now in "IP Address Setting" choose manual, and set anything as your IP Address for static IP. Any number from 192.168.1.x to 192.168.1.255, but for the sake of the tutorial set everything as this:
IP Address: 192.168.1.166 (or 192.168.0.166 or 10.0.0.166)
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Router: 192.168.1.1 (or 192.168.0.1 or 10.0.0.1)
Primary DNS: 192.168.1.1 (or 192.168.0.1 or 10.0.0.1)
Secondary DNS: 192.168.1.1 (or 192.168.0.1 or 10.0.0.1)
If your ip is different, here are possibilities...
IP Address: 198.168.1.166 (or 192.168.0.166 or 10.0.0.166)
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Router: 198.168.1.254 (or 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.0.254 or 10.0.0.1 or 10.0.0.254)
Primary DNS: 198.168.1.254 (or 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.0.254 or 10.0.0.1 or 10.0.0.254)
Secondary DNS: 198.168.1.254 (or 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.0.254 or 10.0.0.1 or 10.0.0.254)
Continue on:
MTU = automatic
Proxy Server = Do Not Use
UPnP = enable
(x) enter
Test connection.
Step #2:
On your computer, open up ProDG Target Manager and go to "Search for Targets". In "IP from:" put (Depending on your router, 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 or 10.0.0.1) 192.168.1.1. And in "IP to:" put (again, Depending on your router, 192.168.1.255 or 192.168.0.255 or 10.0.0.255) 192.168.1.255. Now press the Refresh Button to search...
Step 3:
Right click on your ps3 that shows up in Target manager (192.168.1.166), and click "add target(s)".
Your target will now show up under the debugging station.
Right click on it and click "Connect".
Step 4:Now after this, your ps3 will go to a black screen for a second, then come back to a main screen and it will give an error code... After you get the error, restart your ps3. (or your ps3 will freeze)
Once your ps3 has successfully rebooted, reconnect your ps3 once again through target manager, and open the debugger/tool, and connect and attatch your process!!!
This is a noob friendly tutorial, i hope this helps those who have had previous issues with ethernet or just not able to use an ethernet. This is 100% through wifi RTE/RTM and their is NO need for an ethernet, nor need for sharing wifi.
(If their is already a tutorial for this, i did not know, but i feel this will still be helpfull.

TroubleShooting:
If it doesn't show up, try connecting the default way with an ethernet with wifi-shared, and have it show up... After that, then try using this way.
Why is it not showing up? - Make sure you set your ps3 ip address as ex. 192.168.1.x (Depending on your router)
say your router login is 192.168.0.1, set your default router, primary and secondary DNS as the same.
ex.
IP Address: 198.168.0.166
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Router: 192.168.0.1
Primary DNS: 192.168.0.1
Secondary DNS: 192.168.0.1
or if your router login is 10.0.0.254, then this:
ex.
IP Address: 10.0.0.166
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Router: 10.0.0.254
Primary DNS: 10.0.0.254
Secondary DNS: 10.0.0.254
--I hope you get the idea. You have to make your Default router, primary DNS, and secondary dns as your router login ip a.k.a "Default Gateway"--
to find out what your router login is, go into cmd.
On your computer, search "CMD", and run Command Prompt.
Once you are in the command prompt, type in ipconfig.
Scroll down, and find "Default Gateway". This is your default router ip. This is what your will use for default router, primary dns, and secondary dns on your
--------------------If this doesn't work still---------------------------
If this still decides it doesn't want to work, MAKE SURE your PS3 IP is set as static. If you don't manually set your ps3 ip, THIS WILL NOT WORK.
If you followed the steps above, this should work fine.
